She opens her eyes and it’s dark in her bedroom. She glances over at the alarm clock on the nightstand and she is surprised to find that it is 8:00 p.m. Her and Bennett’s lovemaking knocked her out cold and the realization makes her smile to herself. A good hearty sleep after sex is a sign to her that the sex was better than good. She stretches her limbs with a smile on her face as the memories of the events that occurred earlier in the bed with Bennett flood her mind.

She throws her legs over the side of the bed, puts on her robe, and travels downstairs to find her cell phone. She finds her cell phone sitting on the kitchen table next to the papers that were in the envelope that Bennett brought with him. The sight of the papers reminds her of the note that Bennett left for her and it causes a smile to return to her face. Why can’t she stop smiling? She hasn’t smiled so much in a long time and all it took was a roll around in the hay with an attentive man, who was in-tune with her needs.

As she picks up her cell phone and scrolls through her missed messages, she ponders what she actually feels for the man that was in her bed just a few hours before. Does she actually have feelings for him or was he just a wonderful distraction? She decides that the answer is a little of both. Bennett turned out to be a compassionate and understanding man and he provided her with some of the feelings that she had been longing for and hadn’t been receiving from her husband. They could never possibly have a relationship. He is married and so is she. She doubts that he would be willing to leave his wife of so many years for her after just one time having sex together. It’s unrealistic to think that he could have feelings towards her that resemble love after just one intimate rendezvous together, isn’t it? She searches her mind and decides that what she feels for Bennett isn’t love. Gratitude and appreciation are as far as it goes for her. She doesn’t love Bennett. When she thinks of her husband, she thinks that she still loves him, despite the way that he has been treating her.

There is a message from her husband, a message from Bennett thanking her for a wonderful time, and a message from her best girlfriend. The message from her girlfriend, Tracey, is what interests her the most. Tracey wants to go out on the town and have a few drinks because her husband is also out of town. She quickly responds to Tracey’s message and accepts the invitation. She would love nothing more than to get out of the house for a couple of hours and disclose to her friend all the things that she’s been keeping from her and everyone for so long.
